"Thelma" from "Good Times" Kicks-Off BCC's African American History Month Events Thursday, Feb. 5

Best known for her role as Thelma Evans-Anderson, the middle child and only daughter of Florida and James Evans Sr., on the CBS sitcom “Good Times” (1974 to 1979), Bern Nadette Stanis, actress, author and spokesperson, will kick-off BCC’s African American History Month events on Thursday, Feb. 5.

Lady Barons Soccer Team Receives Sportsmanship Award

Burlington County College’s (BCC) women’s soccer team recently received the Sportsmanship Award from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's (NSCAA) Ethics Committee.

“We play with respect,” said Kathleen DeLitta, head coach of the women’s soccer team.  “We respect the officials, the crowd, our teammates, our school, the coaching staff, the opponent and the game.”
