Rowan College at Burlington County men’s basketball hosts playoffs as No. 2 seed

Rowan College at Burlington County men’s basketball heads into Region XIX Division II playoffs as No. 2 seed this weekend. The Barons will host No. 7 seed, Delaware Technical Community College, on Saturday, March 4 at 1 p.m. in the Pemberton Campus gym.

The Barons, with a 14-9 record, are looking to continue their six-game winning streak far into the playoffs.

Rowan College at Burlington County’s English & Literature department and the office of Student Life, invite the community to a reading with poet Major Jackson on Tuesday, March 7. Jackson will read from his latest collection of poetry called, “Roll Deep,” in the college’s TEC Lounge at 5 p.m.

“It’s all about teamwork and preparation,” according to Jondre Cameron, 22-year-old Rowan College at Burlington County culinary arts student. 

He’s referring to Vaulted Cuisine, RCBC’s student-run restaurant, which is a credit course that offers students real-world experience and the greater community a three-course meal for $20.

Rowan College at Burlington County’s new trustees bring business and communications expertise

The Rowan College at Burlington County (RCBC) Board of Trustees welcomed two new members Tuesday night who are skilled in business development and public communications.

The board welcomed Jamie Martin, of Moorestown, and Jason P. Tosches, of Cinnaminson, who were appointed by the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders earlier this month.

Rowan College at Burlington County’s international soccer players, Ismael Guerrero, of Spain, and Jack Hoey, of England, recently signed their National Letter of Intents to Division I program Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina.
