Registration is open for summer youth programs

It’s never too early to start thinking about plans for the summer. Rowan College at Burlington County will be sharing an educational and enriching summer program with local families participating in their summer youth programs.

The college offers non-credit courses so that community members have the opportunity to upgrade skills, pursue new ones or explore a hobby in these special courses designed for all age groups.

Rowan College at Burlington County celebrates Black History Month with music, food, movies, special guests and more in February.

The college’s African American Cultural Committee organized the events to recognize the important contributions of African Americans while engaging the community in a celebration of culture and diversity.

RCBC students win National Distance Learning Week Scholarship Essay Contest

Lavyona Andrews, of Willingboro, and Catherine Jewett, of Mount Laurel, took first and second place, respectively, in Rowan College at Burlington County’s National Distance Learning Week Scholarship Essay Contest, sponsored by the RCBC Distance Education Office, the RCBC Foundation, and the College Bookstore, which is managed by Follett.

The Rowan College at Burlington County Board of Trustees appointed Thomas J. Czerniecki, the accomplished chief executive officer of Evesham Township, to serve as senior vice president of Operations and Administration.
