Free Computer Workshops Offered in November

Burlington County College (BCC) is offering free computer seminars to help residents improve their digital literacy through its Service-Learning program.

There are four separate sessions all held at the TEC building, room 317 on the Mount Laurel campus. Residents can select as many as they like on a first come, first served basis:

Burlington County College (BCC) is hosting its annual safe trick-or-treat event at the Pemberton campus, 601 Pemberton Browns Mills Road, on Friday, Oct. 24 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. “Trunk-or-treat” at BCC is free, family-friendly and open to the community.

Wawa, BCC join in celebration of philanthropy and educational achievement

Mount Laurel, New Jersey – Christopher Gheysens, CEO of Wawa, an iconic brand in the southern New Jersey/Philadelphia region that is celebrating its 50th anniversary, will join with Burlington County College (BCC) and the BCC Foundation to celebrate the philanthropy that empowers students to educational achievement.

Crowdfunding Seminar For Entrepreneurs & Small Biz

Crowdfunding, the practice of funding a project or venture by raising money from a large number of people, typically via the Internet, will be the topic of discussion at a seminar presented by the Incubators at Burlington County College (BCC) on Thursday, Oct. 23 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Enterprise Center at BCC, located on the college’s Mount Laurel campus at 3331 Route 38.

Reflections on Light Exhibit at Student Art Gallery

Light, as a compositional tool, subject matter, and source of inspiration, is the theme for Burlington County College’s Student Art Gallery’s new exhibit, “All Around Us: Reflections on Light,” opening on Friday, Oct. 3.

New Degree Programs: Cybersecurity & Cancer Registry

Burlington County College’s (BCC) Board of Trustees approved two new associate degree programs, cybersecurity and cancer registry management, at its meeting Tuesday, Sept. 30, in the college’s Willingboro Center. Both programs will launch in fall 2015.

USciences and BCC Formalize Transfer Agreement

University of the Sciences (USciences) and Burlington County College (BCC) have formalized a transfer articulation agreement that guarantees seats in two USciences undergraduate programs for students earning their associate degree at BCC. The two schools will officially sign the agreement at a ceremony on Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014, at 3 p.m. at USciences.
