With the end of softball and baseball season, Burlington County College (BCC) reflects on the successes of the Barons and a major first for the BCC softball team.

Philadelphia Soul and WBZC-FM: Broadcasting Partners

Burlington County College’s (BCC) radio station WBZC-FM (Z88.9) is pleased to announce its new broadcasting partnership with the Philadelphia Soul, the city’s Arena Football League team now in its eighth season. WBZC-FM will broadcast all remaining six home games, including the Veterans Arena Game featuring active reservists and veterans of the Armed Forces after the Soul game on June 22.

Golf Team Wins Region 19 Division III Championship

On Wednesday, May 7, Burlington County College’s (BCC) men’s golf team captured the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) 2013 Region XIX Division III Golf Championship at Cape May National Golf Club in Erma, New Jersey.

For the first time in Burlington County College’s women’s softball history, the team will advance to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II Softball National Championship in Clinton, Mississi

Funding Awarded Through State Bond Programs

Burlington County College (BCC) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded more than $4.5 million from the State of New Jersey for its proposed capital and equipment projects. Today, Governor Chris Christie and the Secretary of Higher Education Rochelle Hendricks announced the list of the 176 approved higher education state-supported bond projects sent to the Legislature.

Thank you for your continued cooperation with today’s closure of the PE Building.  Law enforcement officials continue to investigate threats that were made to a group of Burlington County College employees who work at the physical education center on our Pemberton campus.

Radiography Students Win First Place in Technibowl

Burlington County College (BCC) students Pankaj Gupta of Marlton, and Nicole Komosinski of Mount Laurel, swept the competition and secured BCC a first place finish for the second year in a row at the annual Technibowl, a regional academic competition among radiologic technology students.

Diagnostic Medical Sonography Awarded Accreditation

Burlington County College (BCC) is pleased to announce that its Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) Program was recently accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) in collaboration with the Joint Review Committee–Diagnostic Medical Sonography (JRC-DMS).

English as a Second Language Information Sessions

Burlington County College (BCC) will host free English as a Second Language (ESL) Information Sessions on Wednesday, April 24 and Thursdays, May 9 and June 13. The ESL program at BCC offers non-native speakers of English the opportunity to improve their language skills by focusing on writing, grammar, reading, vocabulary, speech and pronunciation.
