Free Community Trick-or-Treating: Make a Difference Day

Make your way around the “Hungry, Hungry, Hippos,” through “Candy Land” and “Clue,” and don’t pass go in “Monopoly.” Burlington County College’s (BCC) ninth annual “Make a Difference Day” presents a board game-themed day of free and safe trick-or-treating fun for the community on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 1 to 4 p.m.

Men's Soccer Team Ranked 20th in Nation

For the second year in a row, the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) has named Burlington County College (BCC) men’s soccer team one of the best in the nation. BCC ranked 20th in the Junior College Men’s Division I Soccer Poll on Sept. 25. The team currently has a 5-2 record.

Retired & Senior Volunteer Program Recognition Event

The Burlington County Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), a nation-wide program funded by the Corporation for National and Community Service and by the Burlington County College (BCC) Office of Community and Student Services, will honor its dedicated volunteers at the Volunteer Recognition Event on Thursday, Oct. 4 at 11 a.m. at BCC’s Mount Holly Center, 1 High Street.

G.I. Jobs Names BCC a Military Friendly School

Burlington County College (BCC) has earned the distinction as a “Military Friendly School” by G.I. Jobs magazine for the second year in a row. Fifteen percent of colleges, universities and trade schools in the nation and 28 schools in the state of New Jersey have been named a “Military Friendly School” for 2013.

Bonner AmeriCorps Leaders Take 9/11 Banner to NYC

On Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012, approximately 100 sixth grade students from Marcus Newcomb School in Pemberton gathered at Burlington County College’s (BCC) Geraldine Clinton Little Theater for a special 9/11 assembly hosted by BCC’s Bonner AmeriCorps Leaders, a group of students committed to having a positive influence on the community through service.

In the last year, the Burlington County College (BCC) Foundation has awarded deserving BCC students a total of 485 scholarships (a record number) worth more than $432,000.
