Rowan College at Burlington County is modernizing its radio programming with the launch of RCBC Radio – an online station that will give students real-world experience with 21st century technology.

Personal & Professional Development offers non-credit courses to the community so that everyone has the opportunity to upgrade skills, pursue new ones or explore a hobby in these special courses. All age groups are represented in these credit-free courses and are registered on a first-come, first-served basis.

A holiday dessert that dresses to impress

The days of working in a retail bakery are long gone for me, but I do have many fond memories of working many long hours during the holidays. Friends and family used to ask me, “How do you not gain weight working in a bakery?” My will power was strong when it came to sugar cookies, cheesecakes, and Danish pastries. They are delicious, but to me, those calories are just not worth it.

Rowan College at Burlington County students from the diagnostic medical sonography and radiography programs were inducted into the Lambda Nu national honor society.

RCBC’s imaging students inducted into new chapter of honor society

Students from Rowan College at Burlington County’s imaging programs were inducted into Lambda Nu on Nov. 15, a national honor society for radiologic and imaging sciences. For the first time this year, sonography students were inducted alongside seven of their peers from the radiography program, which has the oldest Lambda Nu chapter in the state.

RCBC grad one of only nine students inducted into program to diversify education field

Amiel Holliday, 20, was one of nine Rowan University students to be inducted into IMPACT, or Increasing Male Practitioners and Classroom Teachers, a program dedicated to diversifying the education field. Holliday, of Burlington Township, graduated from Rowan College at Burlington County (RCBC) with high honors last May.

Rowan College at Burlington County will be celebrating art, music, performance, design, media and food at the 2017 Art Showcase “Metamorphosis: Transformation & Growth” on Friday, Nov. 17 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Mount Laurel Campus in Votta Hall.

The Rowan College at Burlington County Board of Trustees welcomed a new member, Gino A. Pasqualone, who brings a wealth of experience in the building trades and workforce development.
