Fashion Product Merchandising (AS.FPM)

The Fashion Product Merchandising, Associate of Science program is structured with the understanding that students will elect to transfer to a four-year program in merchandising, business administration, or marketing.

Learning outcomes:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of seasonal fashion, color, and fabric trends within a historical context.
  • Identify fiber, fabric, and surface textures relating to textiles within the fashion business industry.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of basic sewing and pattern techniques.
  • Summarize merchandising and business processes relating to the fashion wholesale and retail industry.
  • Strategize marketing, branding, and product development in the fashion industry
