For Military Spouses

Rowan College at Burlington County offers academic assistance and advice to military spouses on base every day of the week, at our offices in the Military Education Center, located at 4 School Road (Building 3829).  Please ask for Jennifer George, Coordinator of our Office of Military Education and Veteran Services, DSN: (609) 754-2577, or (609) 894-9311, ext. 4702.

Jennifer can explain tuition, benefit and scholarship programs, financial aid, and scheduling. Be sure to ask about RCBC’s Military Spouse/Domestic Partnership Scholarship Program.

Starting in the Fall 2017, we are intending to offer a significant number of courses during the day (9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.) on the Joint Base so that military spouses (particularly those with children) can easily pursue their higher learning interests and objectives.

Working with United Communities, RCBC will be emailing a survey in January to all military families, asking what courses, certificates and other enrichment programs you would like to have offered on the Base.  Please be sure to look for our survey in mid-January.

RCBC will be creating an Academic Advisory Committee to help us choose the courses and enrichment programs to offer on the Base.  Watch for details, on this page and in emails.  We hope to make the appointments by the end of January.

Our New Year’s Resolution for 2017 is to provide excellent services to the spouses of our men and women in uniform.  Thank you for your service!
