Career Fair

Jobseekers will have the opportunity to meet with more than 50 area employers at Burlington County College’s (BCC) 26th annual Career Fair, held in partnership with the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders, on Tuesday, April 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Enterprise Center at BCC located on the Mount Laurel campus, 3331 Route 38.

Local and regional businesses and organizations, including AJM Insurance, BAYADA Home Health Care, Beneficial Bank, Protocall Staffing, Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant, Source4Teachers, Home Depot, Chesterbrook Academy, Vector Security, and many more, will be looking to fill full-time and part-time positions, as well as internships, with qualified applicants. Nearly every industry from hospitality to health care will have a hiring manager at the Career Fair.

“This joint career fair with the County and the College is an ideal place for businesses to meet talented, energetic and well-trained individuals ready to fill their job vacancies,” said Burlington County Freeholder Director Donnelly. “It is also a great opportunity for employers to receive valuable exposure for their companies.”

“Burlington County College is committed to fostering a healthy economic climate in the county by providing opportunities for employers to find talented workers and helping our students begin careers here in Burlington County. Connecting the needs of jobseekers, including our students, and local businesses is what the Career Fair is all about,” said BCC President David C. Hespe. “The fact that New Jersey is continuously adding jobs is a good sign. Now, we have to ensure our local jobseekers are aware of these growing opportunities.”

The Career Fair is a one-stop-shop networking event for both jobseekers and employers. Jobseekers should dress professionally and bring several copies of their resumes.

BCC's Career Services Center is holding free "Resume Review Workshops" on Thursday, April 4 at the Pemberton and Mount Laurel campuses and the College’s Mount Holly Center for jobseekers looking to polish and update their resume before the Career Fair. Workshops are offered from 10 a.m. to noon, 1 to 3 p.m., and 3 to 4:30 p.m. in Pemberton, Mount Laurel and Mount Holly. An additional evening session is scheduled from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in the Mount Holly Center. To attend a workshop, please pre-register by clicking here. Jobseekers who cannot attend a workshop, but would like help creating or updating a resume, should visit https://bcc.optimalresume.com.

“The Career Fair is the grand finale to BCC’s month-long career-related events,” said BCC’s Director of Career Services Roseanne Buckley. “We recently transformed 20 students into workforce-ready professionals at our Dress for Success fashion show and the Career Services staff members have hosted several free workshops on everything from resume writing and job interviewing skills to help prepare students and jobseekers in the community for today’s competitive workforce.”

Jobseekers planning to attend are encouraged, but not required, to register online. A list of participating employers and their job opportunities is available on the Career Services website
