Saint Patrick's Day Parade

Burlington County College (BCC) students connected to local Irish organizations are eligible for a new scholarship supported by the partnership between the college and the Burlington County Saint Patrick’s Day Parade.

“For more than a decade, the Burlington County Saint Patrick’s Day Parade has allowed us to gather as a community and celebrate Irish heritage and all of the civic organizations that make Burlington County such a great place to live, learn, work and play,” Burlington County Freeholder Director Mary Ann O’Brien said. “This new scholarship ties together two exceptional parts of Burlington County: our educational opportunities and wonderful quality of life.”

Current or prospective students who will attend BCC for the fall 2015 semester may apply. Applications, which are available at www.mounthollyparade.com, are due by Thursday, Feb. 26.

“We are pleased to support the Burlington County Saint Patrick’s Day Parade and assist students who choose to make Burlington County College their destination for educational success,” BCC Interim President Dr. David Spang said.

The winner will be selected by judges from the Burlington County Saint Patrick’s Day Parade Committee prior to the parade, which is scheduled for Saturday, March 7 in downtown Mount Holly. Complete details can be found at www.mounthollyparade.com.

“The parade has long supported educational advancement through a scholarship awarded to Miss Saint Patrick,” said Parade President Jim Logue. “We welcome this additional opportunity for students to achieve high-quality education at Burlington County College and look forward to seeing everyone in downtown Mount Holly for another wonderful parade.”
