Rowan College at Burlington County Foundation and TD Bank host student Startup Stars competition for aspiring entrepreneurs

The Rowan College at Burlington County Foundation is excited to announce its 2017 TD Bank Startup Stars business plan competition final judging and celebration will take place on Thursday, April 6 at 6:30 p.m. at RCBC’s Enterprise Center on the Mount Laurel Campus. 

“TD Bank is so proud to be able to support this amazing event,” said Joe Tredinnick, Regional Vice-President for TD Bank, the event’s presenting sponsor. “The ideas and business plans that are submitted by our local high school students and the students from RCBC are so creative and very clever,” concluded Tredinnick.

“Empowering the young entrepreneurs of today is crucial, as they will be the business leaders oftomorrow,” stated Burlington County Freeholder Linda Hughes. “The Startup Stars competition is a fantastic way for our students to showcase their talents and to be reminded of the resources and support available to them as they start their own business and make a positive impact on their community,” concluded Hughes. 
 
Students participating in the TD Bank 2017 Startup Stars competition are competing for first, second, and third place cash prizes and awards ($1,000, $500, & $250).
 
The final judging and celebration event will be held at the RCBC Enterprise Center on Thursday, April 6 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Please visit  rcbc.edu/startupstars for more information and resources. This event is free and open to the public.
