Greetings Culinary & Hospitality Students and Alumni-
Are you ready to register for the intersession and spring semester? Now is the time to start planning your schedules! Keep in mind you can earn 3 credits during the 10-day intersession mini-semester (class starts January 2nd). We offer the hospitality practicum, culinary practicum, and ecotourism during the intersession. Hospitality students- the intersession is the ONLY time ecotourism is offered (and yes it is a requirement of the hospitality program). Please feel free to make an appointment with Chef James or Nicolette to discuss your registration needs.

Thanks to all of our BBQ volunteers! Anna and Ashley helped us serve pulled pork, spoonbread, grilled chicken, coleslaw, and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. Looking forward to working with all of you at The Arts Showcase!

Arts Showcase of Rowan College at Burlington County

We are looking for students to demonstrate their culinary skills at this second annual event being held at The Enterprise Center. The event is looking to bring together the college arts departments and showcase them to our community. Last year was a great success because of all of you who dedicated your time to participate and we are looking forward to working with you again!

Fire and Ice

A fun opportunity for you to showcase your hospitality and culinary skills. Please reach out if you have interest in volunteering at this annual event. We are looking for students to assist with ice carving, preparing chili, cooking demos, and many other opportunities.

Making Moves

Our students and alumni are making connections not only for themselves but for all future and current students looking to work in the industry.

Gino Marella has been hired as a Chef at Jose Garces Distrito concept in Moorestown.

BobbieLyn String, who has recently graduated from our hospitality program, has secured a job as the Beer Garden Supervisor at the Borgata in Atlantic City.

Another hospitality student, Jenutia Lobster, is part of the opening team at Springhill Suites in Mount Laurel as a Guest Services Representative.

Katie Hood is the newest RCBC culinary student to secure a job at Wegmans.

Big names in the industry including the Garces Group and the Borgata have recently reached out to recruit more of our students/alumni. Please let us know if you are interested in a job!

Alumni Update from Rhode Island

“I am pleased to announce that I am currently attending JWU in Providence, RI! I am enrolled in the competitive Culinary Nutrition program and I am on course to graduate Spring 2018 with a Bachelor's of Science! I am also currently working at the Providence Marriott Downtown as a server in the Bluefin Grille. I hope to keep in touch as an alumni from RCBC!” –Kimmee Werosta CUL ‘16
