Public Presentation on Medicare Changes for 2018

Monday, November 13, 2017 - 10:00am to 12:00pm

Burlington County Library, 5 Pioneer Blvd. Westampton

A public presentation on Medicare changes for 2018 will be held in the auditorium of the Burlington County Library, 5 Pioneer Blvd., Westampton on November 13 from 10 am - 12 pm. The public may ask questions after the presentation.

Be aware that benefits and premiums could change for 2018. Even if you are confident in keeping your coverage for the coming year, it is important to confirm that your current plan is still the best available option. During the annual enrollment period (October 15 through December 7), Burlington County residents can make appointments to meet with a volunteer Medicare counselor trained in areas of health insurance and benefits by calling (609) 894-9311, ext. 1494.

The State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) provides free help to New Jersey Medicare beneficiaries who have problems with, or questions about their health insurance. SHIP is a statewide program administered by the New Jersey Department of Human Services with financial assistance through a grant from the U.S. Administration for Community Living. The local Burlington County SHIP is provided through the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, sponsored by Rowan College at Burlington County's Workforce Development Institute and Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
