Rowan College at Burlington County Paramedic Science Program - in partnership with Virtua Health

Rowan College of Burlington County (RCBC) in partnership with Virtua Health provides didactic and clinical education for the paramedic science degree. RCBC transforms lives by delivering innovative, high-quality and affordable educational experiences. The Virtua Paramedic Science program is nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).

Two Program Options

  • Certification in Paramedic Science
  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Paramedic Science 

Both options exceed the requirements of the National Standard Curriculum for Paramedic studies.

Program Outcomes

On May 15, 2015 the Virtua West Jersey Health System, Inc.’s Paramedic Science Program received initial accreditation by the Commission of Accreditation of Allied Health Educational Programs.

The Paramedic Science program, sponsored by Virtua Health Inc. and Rowan College at Burlington County, is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP).
