Become an Enrollment Management Student Success Office Assistant

The Enrollment Management Student Sucess Divison (EMSS) Office Assistants are student workers who assist and participate in on-and-off campus events, welcome students and guests to the campus, and provide information to prospective students and the community. 

Once a student  has worked with EMSS for at least one semester and obtained a minimum GPA of a 2.5, they are able to apply to become Student Ambassadors. 

Student Ambassadors are student liaisons that provide prospective students with Campus Tours, and assist with on and off campus events. 

Job Title: Enrollment Management Student Success Office Assistant (OA)
Hours: varies/no more than 25 hr/week
Compensation: $9 per hour
Reports directly to: Assistant Director of Outreach and Admissions, Zaneb Ghanem​

Minimum Qualifications
  • Currently Enrolled at RCBC in Good Academic Standing
  • Registered for a minimum of 6 college credits
Skills/Abilities and other Requirements:
  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills
  • Outstanding Communication and Public Speaking Skills
  • Able to multi-task and be a self-starter
  • Motivated individual that can demonstrate leadership skills and serve as a positive role model for student body
  • Exhibit professionalism and adaptability
  • Technical knowledge in Google Docs, Microsoft Office Suite, WebAdvisor, Student Email, and Blackboard.
  • Maintain proper work attire
Job Duties:
  • Assist with and participate in on-and-off campus activities and events such as Open House, Information Sessions, Community Events, Welcome Week, and more.
  • Respond to incoming inquiries via phone, email, etc
  • Make outbound phone calls
  • Welcome Students and Guests to the Campus in a friendly manner
  • Assist with department initiatives
  • Provide information and assistance to prospective students and their family members
  • Administrative duties as assigned, i.e. folders, mail, filing, etc.
  • Able to work nights and weekends when necessary
  • Other tasks as assigned
Other Requirements:
  • Keep record of time using our time management system
  • Check and respond to emails during the workweek
  • Attend all training and Student Worker Meetings
