Congressional App Challenge is for middle school and high school students, encouraging them to learn to code and inspiring them to pursue careers in computer science. With this mission in mind:

To actively include and engage students from communities that are traditionally underrepresented in the tech community
To innovate policymaking by connecting Members of Congress to new and emerging technologies through personal interactions with their student constituents
In an effort to get students in high school and middle school to compete by creating an app, RCBC is holding an APP CHALLENGE Kick Off event. This event will be held on Saturday, September 17th from 10am-12pm, on the RCBC campus. Congressman Andy Kim will be in attendance.
