Interested in a career that allows you to oversee important engineering projects? Or are you a frontline worker who wants to transition to a supervisory role? Rowan College at Burlington County has the perfect program for these goals. Their Applied Technology Management degree provides a high-quality educational experience that prepares students to enter careers in the fields of technology and engineering management.

Applied Technology Management involves solving complex technological problems and developing the competitive technologist and applied engineering workforce. The program is designed to be a two-year Associate of Applied Science degree that is transferable to a four-year Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology Management. However, students could jump right into the workforce after completing their associate degree.

RCBC’s Applied Technology Management program provides hands-on, experiential learning components including the use of a 3-D printer and projects that involve product development and building. Graduates will be able to analyze technical problems and utilize technology needed to implement solutions.

The program is designed for direct applicability to the workforce, so students will be prepared to enter positions as a project manager, cost estimator, safety coordinator, quality control technician and more. Local employers hiring within this field include, among others, Comcast, TD Bank, Oaks Integrated Care and Lockheed Martin.
