Health Eating for Kids Non-Credit Class
February 3, 2018
Do your children eat all their fruits, vegetables and proteins? I am a mother who loves to figure out how to "sneak" fruits and vegetables into their child's food. I have learned with my three year old that food has to be fun, but also familiar to them. I will show you how to make a simple mac 'n cheese with butternut squash, some tofu nuggets with roasted beet ketchup, and a homemade ravioli stuffed with cauliflower and ricotta, served with a fresh pea pesto. Everything is eye appealing, they will never know what they ate was actually nutritious!

Let Them Eat Cake
Sunday, February 25, 2018
Come support local businesses and our students in this charitable cake competition. The event includes goody bags and the chances to win over 40 prizes. The entire evening will include fun and fabulous cakes, live music, and unlimited wine and spirits tastings.

Cake Bootcamp Non-Credit Class
March 3, 2018
This is a 2 day camp that teaches you how to bake a cake and decorate with buttercream and fondant. Learn how to make a high ratio cake, Swiss buttercream and marshmallow fondant. Walk out of class with a two-layer cake you can be proud of. Learn some of the simple tricks of the trade that you pay a fortune for at bakeries. We will whip you into shape, and help aid you being able to make your own celebration cakes for your friends and family.

Student Abroad Italy
We have had a lot of interest in our Study Abroad to Italy! Be on the look out for an email shortly. We will have our first interest meeting in February! Please start brainstorming fundraising ideas to help cut the costs for this once-in-a-lifetime experience! If you have any thoughts or questions please email me at

Practicum Hours
Are you looking to fill some of your practicum hours (remember ALL students in culinary, pastry, and hospitality must work 320 hours in THEIR industry to satisfy the practicum requirements). See Chef James, Nicolette or Shari if you are interested at any event.

Do you have some Instagram worthy shots? We are looking to create a student portfolio for prospective students. We are proud of the work that you do and we want to show it off! Email with your pics.
