Welcome to Sepideh Abdollahzadeh, MS, RDMS, the New Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program Director

On November 7, 2016, Rowan College at Burlington County welcomes its new Program Director for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Sepideh Abdollahzadeh, MS, RDMS.

Prior to joining RCBC, Ms. Abdollahzadeh taught in Thomas Jefferson University’s Sonography Program and is a guest lecturer at Arcadia University’s Physician Assistant Program.  As a sonographer for INOVA Mount Vernon Hospital in Alexandria, Virginia, she also mentored and evaluated sonography students as a part of their clinical learning.

Ms. Abdollahzadeh is registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography in both Abdomen and OB/GYN.

In 2009, Ms. Abdollahzadeh received her Bachelor of Science Sonography, General and Vascular tracks degree, from The George Washington University of the District of Columbia.  She moved to Philadelphia, PA, to obtain her Masters in Radiologic Sciences degree from the Thomas Jefferson University.   Presently, she is pursuing a Doctorate in Health Sciences for the Nova Southeastern University of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

“What impressed me the most about Ms. Abdollahzadeh’s is her teaching philosophy of developing sonography students clinically and mentoring them to keep patient care at the center of their education.  These skills will definitely help our sonography students transition to the healthcare workforce.  Her energy and enthusiasm will be contagious for our students.” says, Dean of Health Sciences, Dr. Karen Montalto.  

RCBC welcomes Courtney Dyott, BS, RDMS, as the new Diagnostic Medical Sonography Clinical Coordinator

Rowan College at Burlington County continues to enhance its Diagnostic Medical Sonography program with the addition of Courtney Dyott, BS, RDMS as the new Clinical Coordinator. Dyott attended Thomas Jefferson University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences, with a specialty in Radiography and Diagnostic Medical Sonography in 2013. Dyott is registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography in Abdomen and OB/GYN. 

Working as a sonographer in both acute care and ambulatory settings, Dyott brings current ultrasound experience to her students. She will help prepare future sonographers for their clinical learning experience in healthcare facilities throughout the region.

“Her passion and hands-on teaching experience in the field are a great asset for our program. We are excited to have her on board and know she will make great contributions to our student’s education,” said RCBC Director of the Sonography Program Sepideh Abdollahzadeh.
