Faculty and Staff log in help

Are you full-time faculty and staff logging in for the first time?

Login information for full-time staff and faculty will be:

  • Username: The first part of your email address (without the @rcbc.edu).
  • Password: Same as your computer login password.

After you sign in, you will have access to your accounts that are available in BaronOne.

After this step, click on the company tab to see your available accounts in BaronOne including email, Self-Service, Blackboard and HappyFox (OIT Help Desk tickets) and more.

BaronOne Login Instructions for Full-Time Staff & Faculty

BaronOne allows Rowan College at Burlington County students, faculty and staff to access several college accounts using a single sign-on ID and password. This will make access to online services more convenient and safer for the whole college community.

Beginning Wednesday, February 28 any account linked to BaronOne will automatically redirect you to the new login portal.

Login information for full-time staff and faculty will be:

  • Username: The first part of your email address (without the @rcbc.edu).
  • Password: Same as your computer login password.

After you sign in, you will have access to your accounts that are available in BaronOne.

After this step, click on the company tab to see your available accounts in BaronOne including email, Self-Service, Blackboard and HappyFox (OIT Help Desk tickets). Additional features will be added.

Please be sure to always lock your computer or log out of BaronOne before leaving your computer.

If you have any difficulty signing in, please log into the intranet (MyRCBC) and submit a help desk ticket.

Are you an adjunct or part-time staff member logging in for the first time?

BaronOne allows Rowan College at Burlington County students, faculty and staff to access several college accounts using a single sign-on ID and password. This will make access to online services more convenient and safer for the whole college community.

Your initial login information will be:

  • Username: The first part of your email address (without the @rcbc.edu)
  • Initial password: Capital first initial + lowercase last initial + 4 digit birth year + 7 digit employee ID

An example of a login for John Doe, born March 1, 1988, whose employee ID number is 3381295, would be:

  • jdoe
  • Jd19883381295

After your first sign in, you will be prompted to change your password before you can access your accounts.

After this step, click on the company tab to see your available accounts in BaronOne including email, Self-Service, Blackboard and HappyFox (OIT Help Desk tickets). Additional features will be added.

Please be sure to always lock your computer or log out of BaronOne before leaving your computer.

If you have any difficulty signing in, please call the Help Desk at (856) 222-9311, ext. 1304. The Help Desk will remain open 24 hours a day through Friday, March 9 to assist you.

Using college email and technology

Technology is an integral part of your educational journey and experience at RCBC. Our commitment is to provide Rowan College at Burlington County students, faculty and staff with access to technological resources for academic purposes and college business.

For official communication, we rely on RCBC email as the official way to communicate among the institutions, students, faculty and staff. It's essential that you stay informed by regularly checking your RCBC email. 

While enjoying the benefits of RCBC technology, it's important to recognize that this privilege comes with responsibilities. Adherence to federal, state, and local laws, as well as college policies, is crucial. Though we make efforts to secure our technology systems, it's important to note that absolute privacy cannot be guaranteed. We encourage a culture of mutual respect for privacy and confidentiality.

Access to college systems is strictly regulated, and unauthorized access is prohibited. The college reserves the right to monitor its systems and take any action intended to minimize disruption of college operations and ensure compliance with applicable laws.

Any misuse may result in disciplinary actions, including termination of enrollment or employment, civil action or criminal prosecution. If you come across unauthorized use, please report it promptly for appropriate action.

Examples of prohibited activities include spamming, making threats, distributing copyrighted material, engaging in fraudulent or illegal activities and conducting personal business. As a measure to maintain the integrity of our systems, the college reserves the right to withdraw access at its discretion and imposes storage limits on individual users.

In situations where actions are necessary to minimize disruptions or comply with laws, the college retains the right to take appropriate measures regarding information stored on its systems. We appreciate your cooperation in upholding a safe and productive technological environment for all.
