Become a healthcare hero—become an Emergency Medical Technician. The future of Emergency Medical Services starts at RCBC.
RCBC’s Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program prepares you with the core clinical skills needed to deliver lifesaving care in the prehospital setting. After just one semester, you’ll be eligible to sit for the NREMT Certification Exam—now available on campus at RCBC’s Test Center. Our pass rates consistently exceed both state and national averages.
This hybrid program offers the flexibility you need, plus hands-on training through partnerships with local EMS and fire organizations. You’ll gain real-world experience and explore diverse career and community service opportunities.
Train in RCBC’s state-of-the-art EMS simulation lab, featuring high-fidelity patient simulators, an ambulance simulator, and realistic emergency room and home environments. You’ll also complete required clinical rotations, including emergency department observation and ride-alongs on a BLS ambulance.
