Business Engagement works with local and regional business partners to ensure that the education and training provided by RCBC are highly valued in the marketplace and provide responsive, industry-relevant, and innovative solutions that meet today's and tomorrow's demands.  

The Business Engagement team studies economic and labor market trends, evaluates growth and critical industries; and provides the College with information to formulate and refine career pathways and develop stackable credentials, making the best use of all available resources. 

This department also offers grant-funded and customized training programs to enhance the skills of incumbent workers, providing businesses with the tools needed to retain qualified staff.

Grant-Funded Business and Industry Training

Business Engagement at RCBC offers grant-supported training for New Jersey employees in basic skills and workplace literacy. Your employees can be trained at no charge (for eligible employers) in employee development, leadership development, technology, communication, and a variety of other skill sets. This program is made possible through a grant from the New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA).

Corporate training at Rowan College at Burlington County is a valuable resource for businesses seeking to enhance the skills and knowledge of their employees. The college offers a range of training programs tailored to meet the specific needs of organizations. Department of Economic Development & Regional Planning

The functions of the Department of Economic Development and Regional Planning were assumed by the Burlington County Bridge Commission from the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders. Merging the economic development and planning role of the department with the Bridge Commission Improvement Authority capitalized on the strengths of the department and the authority thus developing synergies between the two.
