The RCBC Military and Veterans Department has recently been awarded a grant by Lockheed Martin to encourage greater participation of veterans on campus. This program is open to all veterans who are currently enrolled at RCBC throughout the semester.
The VIP Program has been designed to incentivize veterans to become more involved in the community by attending specific events and completing academic tasks. The selected veterans who participate in the program will be eligible for a $500 stipend as well as the opportunity to become a paid peer mentor.
The $500 stipend is a great way to help veterans cover some of their academic expenses, and the peer mentorship position is an excellent opportunity to develop valuable leadership skills and gain work experience.
To learn more about this program, we encourage all RCBC veteran students to reach out to David Reeves at dreeves@rcbc.edu. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that you don't want to miss!
