I was so happy that I had the opportunity to come here. But at the same time, I was nervous. Especially because I did not know English and I was unfamiliar with the culture.

The school was so big and different than what I was used to, but the people here were so friendly, which made it less scary.

The flexibility of not having to be on campus necessarily and getting your degree from Rowan while staying local is definitely very appealing

Utilize the opportunities and resources the department and the college offer. We hold Law Enforcement Career Day each year and then smaller meet and greets throughout the semester.

Ultimately, I wanted better for myself and seems like getting a degree, no matter where or in what was the only option.

Everything happens for a reason. Just take things one step at a time.

RCBC definitely helped me with my technical skills. I knew how to sew. I knew how to make a mood board, but I think RCBC helped me mature my vision

Don’t give up. It won’t be easy, but following your dream will help you learn more about yourself.

It’s so rewarding because I enjoy teaching and interacting with the students, especially when you see that lightbulb go off.

The Veteran Center has provided me and the other veterans that hang out there a support system
