“I am fortunate enough to have amazing parents who already have given a great deal so that I have the opportunity to follow my dreams, but with this scholarship, it certainly lightens the load on my behalf and only influences me to keep going for it,” Buckalew shared. “I am extremely thankful!”

“I am honored to be welcomed into this new position at RCBC,” Feinberg said. “It has been an amazing experience working with multiple departments at RCBC, such as the STEM department as a student worker and the Liberal Arts department as a Service-Learning Scholar. I look forward to working with the members of the board to broaden my knowledge of the inner workings of RCBC, as well as be a part of continued positive change within our community.”

“Something I've always talked about was how great of a time I had at RCBC because I think the staff do a good job of making everyone feel included. The events were always my favorite thing. You walk outside of class, and there was always something going on -- a bouncy house, goat yoga, etc. It was very nice to see that because I didn’t have that image of college in my head. It just felt like a community. That’s what I feel like is very present in those events -- you could tell people really care.”

“From the moment I walked in, I felt at ease,” Hernandez recalled. “Not only was the campus in my hometown, but it offered friendly teachers and staff, great vibes from the students and exceptional education. The minds of the teachers are brilliant, and they work hard to ensure their students have the best schooling that they could provide. Another reason why I chose RCBC was because it was a perfect starting point for me to get my feet wet and learn more about college expectations. It offered me the flexibility to focus on a full-time job while still attending school. It turned out that RCBC was the best choice for me, and I highly recommend it for other individuals looking to get a great education.”

“These are important goals that will improve Rowan College at Burlington County’s ability to serve a broad range of students including those who are in high school, working adults who lack a credential, those in underrepresented communities and those seeking opportunities to conduct scholarly research,” Cioce said.

“I knew RCBC had a wonderful culinary and pastry program, so that was one of the reasons I wanted to go to RCBC compared to other schools in the area,” Seguin said. “Plus, I took out loans and going to RCBC really helped keep costs down.”
