“RCBC not only gave me the tools to be successful in my field through coursework, but provided me with advisors and professors that saw the best in me, even when I had those moments where I couldn't see it myself,” said Dewberry. “Without RCBC, I personally do not think I would be as successful as I am currently.”
“I always say that Rowan College at Burlington County is the top community college in the nation and now we have independent, objective analysis that proves we’re definitely close to that mark,” RCBC President Dr. Michael A. Cioce said. “Our country is home to some extraordinary community colleges and I’m thrilled to see that Rowan College at Burlington County compares favorably with them."
"I am fortunate to work in a state-of-the-art facility, alongside outstanding faculty and students who are eager to learn. I look forward to sharing my passion with them as the school year progresses,” Vasilenko said, referring to the college’s new Health Sciences Center that opened in 2017.
After 15 years as a hairstylist, Jillian Volpe felt she could do more to help people but was hesitant to enroll in college. Volpe overcame her concerns and became so involved at Rowan College at Burlington County (RCBC) that she earned a seat on the college’s Board of Trustees as alumni trustee after graduating with an Associate of Science degree in May.
“This is a cool way to honor our past and celebrate our future, as we continue our yearlong celebration of Rowan College at Burlington County’s 50th anniversary,” said RCBC President Dr. Michael A. Cioce. “Barry and I are honored that Vincent’s Homemade Ice Cream felt the college was worthy of its own flavor, and we can’t wait to dig in."

Although he may tell you it was by accident, Huy Hoang inherited his interest in cooking from his family. His family opened a restaurant, Kem Công Trường 35 years ago, in Saigon, Vietnam. The restaurant offered a variety of Vietnamese dishes, including soups, rice platters, snails and dim sum. However, their signature item that kept people coming back was their homemade coconut ice cream.
