Have you ever investigated a crime scene for evidence or traveled to the Space Station via virtual reality? Do you really understand what you eat? If you’ve answered “no” to any of these questions, Rowan College at Burlington County’s (RCBC) Third Annual Science Slam is the place where you can explore these topics and channel your inner scientist.

In addition to the abovementioned experiences, you’ll also learn about blood typing and use mathematics and data to discover the evolution of measurements. Plus, enjoy drone flying, robot fighting and toy car racing!

This widely popular event will be held at RCBC’s Mount Laurel Campus from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 5. If you needed any other reason to attend, Science Slam is free of charge and open to the community.

Science Slam features activities that aim to stimulate interest in STEM and inspire the next generation of engineers, scientists and health professionals.

In fact, the STEM division at RCBC has become a top destination for students thanks to 3+1 paths to Rowan University that include computing and informatics, biology, mechanical engineering technology, and electrical engineering technology.

If you have any questions about Science Slam, please contact the RCBC Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Division at (856) 222-9311, ext. 1372.
