Regina Reed

The Rowan College at Burlington County Board of Trustees welcomed its newest member Regina Reed at its February meeting. She was sworn into the Board on February 15, 2022.

After spending 40 years in the insurance business, Reed now works for the Superintendent of Riverside Township School District. She was nominated to RCBC’s Board by Senator Troy Singleton and recalls that she was honored to accept the position.

“I have been impressed with the growth of RCBC and their partnership with Rowan University, as well as the variety of degrees offered,” Reed said. “I would like to continue to champion the diverse representation of students in the variety of curricula. I would also like to work toward building an aquatics center that includes an indoor track to be used by students and county residents.”

A long-standing philanthropist, Reed has spent most of her adult life volunteering. She was the first woman president of the Palmyra Ambulance Association in the early 1980s and has chaired the American Cancer Society Relay for Life in Delran. Additionally, she has volunteered with animal shelters, Habitat for Humanity and chaired her local Environmental Advisory Agency.

“I find that volunteering is a humbling experience,” Reed said.

Reed looks forward to implementing positive change at RCBC. To learn more about RCBC’s Board of Trustees, visit rcbc.edu/board-of-trustees
