Pharmacy Technician

This course will prepare individuals to enter the pharmacy field and take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam. Course content includes medical terminology, reading and interpreting prescriptions and identifying drugs by generic and brand names. Individuals will learn dosage calculations, I.V. flow rates, drug compounding, dose conversion, dispensing, inventory control billing and reimbursement.
