Fashion Design (AAS.FAD)

Receive a solid introduction to all aspects of the apparel design industry. An emphasis on sewing construction, pattern making, sketching, fashion technology, textiles and business aspects in a global marketplace are included. Students will also have an opportunity to explore employment opportunities within the apparel design industry.

Fashion Design

Learn how to work as an independent business in fashion design or earn credits to transfer to a four-year university. The Fashion Design program will provide you with a solid introduction to the apparel design industry with an emphasis on sewing construction, pattern making, sketching, fashion technology, textiles and business aspects.

Explore employment opportunities in the apparel design industry that include assistant fashion designer, fashion designer, technical designer, pattern-drafter, fashion product development, textile designer, fashion trend and color analyst, and fashion stylist.
