Payment Plan & Refund Policy

All requests for refunds must be submitted to the Non-Credit mailbox ( 5 business days prior to the start of the class or program. Any request for a refund after the start date will be subject to approval by the Exceptions and Appeals Committee.

Materials: If a textbook or exam voucher has been received by the student, the student will receive a refund less the amount of the textbook or exam voucher.

This program will help individuals start and build successful businesses. If you are starting a business or taking a business to the next level this certificate program can help.

Grant Writing for Profit and Nonprofit Entities

This workshop includes creating a project that fits funders' guidelines via appropriate writing style, proposal strategy and evaluation plan. Get hands-on experience in writing readable, competitive proposals applicable to both the profit and nonprofit sectors. This course offers an overview of grant writing basics, including general guidelines, language, statement of need, cover letter, executive summary, evaluation, budget, etc. It will cover sample grants and discuss researching of funding opportunities. The course is recommended for individuals involved in grant procurement and grant preparation.

Notary Public Education and Training

This class will give you detailed instructions on how to obtain your notary commission from the State of New Jersey. You will acquire skills and tools to complete your state-assigned job duties as described by the New Jersey Division of Revenue. Completion of this course will give any notary (new or renewing) the ability to perform all notary duties with less liability and more confidence! Meets the standards of the New Jersey Notary Association and follows all of the laws concerning the position of a New Jersey Notary Public from the New Jersey Division of Revenue.

Loan Signing Agent: Advanced Notary Public Education for NJ

This course is comprehensive, providing instruction for the position of notary public and the office of a “Notary Signing Agent.”

Follow a signing from start to finish. See actual loan documents and take practice loan documents home. You will receive a head start on how to set up your office and organization tips from notaries in the business. Affirms the standards of the New Jersey laws concerning the position of a New Jersey Notary Public from the New Jersey Division of Revenue.

911 Dispatch

This training program provides industry-recognized credentials from the National Emergency Communications Institute (NECI), Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD) and the American Heart Association (BLS AHA). ​

Administrative Medical Assistant

A Medical Office Administrative Assistant works in a medical office performing general customer service duties. The Medical Office Administrative Assistant’s responsibilities may include receiving patients, scheduling appointments, answering phones, posting account information, and submitting medical claims. This program prepares students to obtain employment working as administrative assistants in a medical environment or as medical billing clerks.

Basic Life Support/CPR

This course is intended for people in the healthcare profession and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills (students, EMT's, doctors, nurses, etc.).

Central Services Technician

Central Service Technicians (also called Sterile Processors) decontaminate, disinfect, package, sterilize and distribute surgical instruments, equipment and soft goods. This is a critical support role in surgical areas.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Apprenticeship Program

This grant-funded Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) apprenticeship program provides classroom and hands-on training while earning a salary with a Rowan College at Burlington County employer partner.

Electrocardiography Technician (ECG)

This comprehensive ECG Technician Certification course prepares students to function as ECG Technicians and to take the National Healthcareer Association Certified EKG Technician (CET) exam.

Heartsaver CPR/AED

This course is for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. Upon successful course completion, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years.

Medical Assistant
The Medical Assistant program is composed of four modules. These include Phlebotomy Technician, Electrocardiograph (ECG) Technician, Administrative Medical Assistant, and Clinical Medical Assistant with Clinical Practicum.
Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship Program

This grant-funded program will provide hands-on training for an entry-level position as a pharmacy technician.

Pharmacy Technician

Pharmacy Technicians assist pharmacists in hospitals or freestanding pharmacies. They are typically involved in customer interactions, insurance claim processing, maintaining inventories and filling prescriptions. This course series prepares students to take the national Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification exam to become a Certified Pharmacy Technician.​  Upon passing the PTCB exam, students can register with the Nj Division of Consumer Affairs as a Pharmacy Technician.

Phlebotomy Technician

Phlebotomists draw blood for tests, transfusions, research, or blood donations. Phlebotomists work mainly in hospitals, medical and diagnostic laboratories, blood donor centers, and doctors’ offices. Almost all employers look for phlebotomists who have earned professional certification. Our course prepares you to earn a credential as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician CPT through the National Healthcareer Association.

Security Office Registration Act (SORA) Training

This program provides the mandatory 24-hour classroom training required to be a licensed armed or unarmed security officer within the state of New Jersey. This program must be completed within 30 days of the initial application for the Security Officer Registration Act license. The steps to apply for this license will be covered in the course. 

Students are responsible for the state application ($75.00) fees and fingerprinting ($66.00).
