Rowan College at Burlington County has a premier partnership that provides students an affordable path to the highly-sought Rowan University bachelor’s degree with benefits that are only available to RCBC alumni.

After graduating with an associate degree, students can choose from three different paths to earn a bachelor's degree with Rowan University.

For Spring 2024 admissions, fill out one of the applications listed below and send all college transcripts to Rowan University before December 1st. The application is free to all students.

Transferring Your Credits to Rowan University

All students must send their official RCBC and other college transcripts to Rowan University prior to enrolling at Rowan University.

Additional Requirements for Rowan University Programs in Glassboro

All graduating RCBC students in an AA, AS, or AAS.NUR degree are automatically accepted to Rowan University with a 2.0 grade point average (GPA) or higher. To declare a major in one of the areas listed below, students will need additional requirements.

The College of Engineering

  • All majors require a 3.5 GPA in required courses and cumulative for automatic admissions (need at least a 3.0 GPA to apply)
  • Completion of required courses.

The College of Business

  • All majors require a 2.5 GPA 
  • All majors require students to complete Statistics (MTH 143) and Calculus (MTH 142 or MTH 118) before declaring a business major

Art (including Graphic Design), Music, Dance, and Theatre

  • Students must complete a portfolio, audition, or essay depending on the major

Athletic Training

  • 2.5 GPA for admission into Pre-Athletic Training (PreAT) 
  • Students will then apply to the MS in Athletic Training which will require a minimum 3.0 GPA , Professional Phase Entrance Exam, completion of the Pre-Athletic Training curriculum, and an interview. Acceptance into the MS in Athletic Training is not automatic. For more information click here.

Nursing (RN-BSN)

  • For RCBC students who graduated August 2015 or after: Current licensure or eligibility to be licensed as a Registered Nursing (RN) in the State of NJ
  • For RCBC students who graduated prior to August 2015: 2.5 GPA and current licensure or eligibility to be licensed as a Registered Nursing (RN) in the State of NJ

Rowan University Housing Options for Transfer Students in Glassboro

Rowan University features eight residence halls and six apartment communities nestled among the trees of a 200 acre campus in historic Glassboro, New Jersey. University and affiliated residences provide easy access to campus resources, recreational facilities and social opportunities.

Application Process

All new students are encouraged to apply for housing as soon as possible after confirming admissions and submitting a deposit. All housing applications are completed online:

Click on “Access Banner Services” and log in. Then click on “Students” - “MyHousing,” and then “Apply Online.” Select the “Freshman Application” or “Transfer Application” as appropriate.

Availability of On-Campus Housing

The university requires freshmen and sophomores to live on-campus unless they apply and qualify for an exemption. Housing for juniors and seniors, including transfer students, is assigned on a space available basis, and is not guaranteed.
