“I try to push everybody to come to RCBC,” Khaliyah said. “It was the best decision and I’m happy where I am.”


Claudia, like so many others, intends to continue her education through RCBC’s 3+1 program. Her ultimate goal is to work for a non-profit organization that helps victims of domestic violence and supports parents of children with special needs, as one of her children is on the autism spectrum.


Soca’s story, and by all means it is a success story – she is graduating with honors – is a complex one.


Lauren Turse began her education at Rowan College at Burlington County (RCBC) when she was 14 years old. Now at 18, she will be graduating this spring with three degrees, English, Biology and Psychology.


“Graduation is a wonderful time to celebrate our students’ accomplishments of the past, present and future,” RCBC President Dr. Michael A. Cioce said. “Our graduates have worked tirelessly to achieve their goals, and we look forward to honoring them.”


While balancing on- and off-campus employment, Sarika has been very active in her campus life through her participation in the Educational Opportunity Fund and its Chi Alpha Epsilon honor society, the Phi Theta Kappa national honor society, the National Society of Leadership and Success, and the Baron to Baron marketing club.
