“RCBC’s cost for the 3+1 program is unmatched and will not leave me with crippling student debt like so many of my friends and family who’ve completed their bachelor’s degrees elsewhere,” Colleen said. “It’s also a very short drive from my house, offers a wide range of classes and truly accommodates adult learners.”
“92% percent of apprentices who go through employers are retained and stay there for many years because they see they are valued and see that they are part of the career ladder,” Kallert said.
“The experience has been incredible! Everyone has been an absolute pleasure,” Frederick-Loomis said. “Amy and her supervisors have been very helpful and informative, and they have taught me better ways to take care of my teeth.”
“In 2019, I went to the Fall Open House, and I knew that this was the campus where I wanted to start my future,” Kraft recalled. “The 3+1 program really caught my eye because you can save so much money. I also read an article about how community colleges are a diamond in the rough. For instance, a class in philosophy, whether it is at an Ivy League or at a community college, is still a philosophy class.”
“Rowan College at Burlington County includes Student Accounts in the Enrollment Management and Student Success Division, which reflects our priority of treating students with dignity and respect rather than a transaction," RCBC President Dr. Michael A. Cioce said. "Myles exemplifies this ideal with the ability to help students understand the process and put them at ease even when he cannot provide the answer they want to hear. In a very difficult year, Myles really upheld the Baron Promise we make to students.”
“We have these languages that we need a lot more people in the United States trained in,” Dr. Chapman said. “They offer excellent employment across a broad spectrum. You learn Arabic or Chinese, and you are setting yourself up well in almost any field, including just purely being a translator. There’s been a huge demand for decades for these; we’ve got a 30 or 40-year backed-up demand in the United States for more speakers of these languages, so any college that can effectively get students to specialize in these courses is a big deal.”
“After a year of turmoil that has stressed many families’ financial situation, Rowan College at Burlington County made it a priority to hold the line on the costs of high-quality education,” RCBC President Dr. Michael A. Cioce said. “Recent trends with vaccination and COVID rates provide optimism that we have turned a corner and can bring more students and staff back to campus this fall.”
